We have all seen the DIY play make up that people make with fingernail polish (well if you have a little girl you probably have).. but I don't know about you, but for me fingernail polish isn't cheap.. so I was on a mission to make my daughter some awesome play make and spend way less! I did, and I spent WAY less than if I would have had to buy bottles and bottles of fingernail polish... what do you think?
I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, and I only spent $6 on ALL of it!
I know you are wanting to do it too, so I will tell you how I did it...
First the supplies:
You Just Need Make Up Holders & Pretty Colored Foam Paper!
(I picked up my make up at Dollar Tree, and the foam paper came from Walmart)
Next, I emptied out all the real make up from the containers:
(I used a toothpick to get it out, then rinsed them good with water)
Then, I made the Make Up:
(The best way I found was to press the make up case down into the foam
so you can cut the perfect size you need)
(I cut 2 foam pieces from this color.. one to put in the make up holder
and the other as a guide for my other colors)
Finally, Glue in all your Make Up:
(you can also use a peel & stick foam as well and skip the glue step..
they didn't have the colors I wanted in the peel & stick so glue it was)
Now your little princess can enjoy her oh so real,
just like Mommy's, play make up!
It so easy, and just takes a few minutes, and your daughter will have hours of fun!
