My Shepherds Pie Recipe

Okay, well it is actually my mothers shepherds pie recipe..
but its deffinatly not your ordinary shepherds pie!

Its so EASY, FAST, and SIMPLE!

  • 1/2 Pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 can Green Beans (you can use whichever veggies you like best)
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken (you can use cream of mushroom, potato, or whicher cream you like best)
  • Cheese Slices
  • Potatoes

Now, I start off by peeling and cutting my potatoes up and getting them on the stove in water... were are gunna make Mashed Potatoes!

Then I get the ground beef started. Once the meat is cooked all the way, and drained, add your can of Cream of Chicken & your can of Green Beans and mix until its mixed thouroughly. Take off heat.

Drain your potatoes, add some butter and milk, and mash em up! Season to your liking.

Now take out your dish and put the meat mixture in the bottom, then the mashed potatoes, then a layer of cheese on top.

Pop in the oven at 350degrees just long enough to melt the cheese and get the whole thing nice and hot.

I love this dish becasue its fast, tasty, and it has your meat, veggies, & starch all in one dish!
Easy to make and easy to clean up!

    1. Thank you, it's great for when you have a lot of company! So easy to adjust the recipe to make more or less, because there is only 5 ingredients!
